Day 01 : Leave Country of  Residence

Day 02 : Arrive Delhi

Lotus TempleUpon arrival in Delhi International Airport you are met and transferred to your pre booked Hotel.
Delhi -  Living testament to the glory of the Mughal days, patron of palaces and tombs and the capital of India, New Delhi is all of this and more. Situated about 160 kms south of the Himalayas and on the west bank of the Yamuna River, a tributary of the Ganges, Delhi has the distinction of being the historic hub of politics.

Afternoon visit to Lotus Temple
Lotus Temple is one of the remarkable architectures of Bahai faith. It is located at Kalkaji in New Delhi. The Temple looks like a Lotus flower and is made of marble, cement, dolomite and sand. The Temple has no restrictions for visitors and is open to people from all religions. The place provides immaculate environment for meditation, peace and wisdom. The Bahai Temple was completed in 1986. Since then the Temple has received recognition from all over the world for its splendid architecture and design.Lotus Temple is among the most visited monuments in India. The credit for building this beautiful structure goes to the Persian architect Fariborz Sahba from Canada.

Day 03 : Delhi
Qutab MinarToday Morning city tour of New Delhi and Old Delhi. Drive along Rajpath, the capital's broadest avenue, for a view of Parliament House, the President's House, India Gate. Visit the Humayun's Tomb, Qutab Minar and Birla Mandir, a colorful and modern Hindu temple.
After Lunch you can start the  Old DelhiTour, among your stops are the Red Fort built by Shah Jahan; Raj Ghat - a memorial to Mahatma Gandhi; Ashoka Pillar and the mile-long Chandni Chowk bazaar.

Day 04 : Delhi – Chandigarh (by Private Car 238 Kms 5 Hrs Drive)
After breakfast leave by private car for Chandigarh. Upon arrival in Chandigarh check in at your pre booked Hotel
Afternoon visit to Chandigarh, visiting Rock Garden and the Sukhna Lake

Day 05 : Chandigarh – Manali (By Private Car 280 Kms 5-6 hrs Drive)

After breakfast leave by Private car for Manali. Upon arrival in Manali check in at your pre booked Hotel
Manali is a major resort in the Kullu valley. According to the legend its name is derived from Manu and Alaya – the abode of Manu. Manali is synonymous with streams and birdsongs, forest and orchards and the grandeur of the snowcapped Himalaya.

Day 06 : Manali

Today we leave for city tour of Manali – visiting the Hadimba Devi temple set within dense Pine forest and to the Naggar Castle to have the stunning view of the valley.
Afternoon is spent walking around the Beas River and the local market.

Day 07 :  Manali – Keylong (by Private Car 150 Kms 5 Hrs Drive)

Morning we start our drive through the Rohtang Pass to Jipsa visiting the Gompa (monastery) of Khardong en route. Upon arrival in Keylong check in at your pre booked Hotel.

Day 08 : Keylong - Sarchu (Pang) (By Private Car 163 Kms, 8 - 9 hrs Drive)

Today morning we start our drive towards Pangand would be covering a distance of 163 kms and going to a height of 4630 meters. Today it will take approx. 8 - 9 hours and we will be crossing over the Baralacha - La pass which is at a height of 4892 meters and the Lachalang La Pass which is at a height of 5065 meters. The journey is through the most beautiful mountain scenery. Upon arrival at pang we overnight in camps.

Day 09 : Sarchu - Leh (by Private Car 240 Kms, 8-9 hrs Drive)

The morning drive today will take us to Leh the capital of Ladakh. Leh is situated at an height of 3505 meters. Today we pass through the incredibly HIGH PASS of Tanglang La which is the world's highest pass situated at an height of 5360 meters. Upon arrival in Leh we check in at your pre booked hotel

Day 10 : Leh

Morning Visit Sankar, Shanti Stupa, Leh Palace. These are a couple of kms away from Leh. Sankar Monastery belongs to the Gelukpa School of Tibetan Buddhism and is a Branch of Spituk Monastery. Shanti Stupa at the Hilltop was built by the Japanese for World peace, and was inaugurated by the Dalai Lama in 1985.Leh Palace was built by King Singey Namgyal in the beginning of 17 century AD. The nine-storey Palace is now deserted and has been taken over by ASI.

Day 11: Leh - Alchi - Uletokpo (75 kms 2 ½ Hrs Drive )

AlchiAfter breakfast leave by private car for the Uletokpo camping, which is one of the most beautiful camping in the Ladakh region. On the way, visit the splendid Spituk monastery, which is just 5 kms from Leh town. Continue drive to Alchi monastery, which is the only monastery in the Ladakh on flat ground. By the lunchtime you will reach Uletokpo. In the evening, enjoy sitting on the bank of the river coming down from the Ridzong side. Spend the night in the camp.

Day 12 : Uletokpo

Breakfast in camp and drive to Lamayuru - 62 kms Lamayuru Monastery The Lamayuru "Yungdrung" Gonpa is remarkably built on a rock, around 125kms. west of Leh, on the Leh Srinagar highway. Lamayuru belongs to the Drigunpa order of Tibetan Buddhism. The history of the monastery begins with the visit of Arahat Nimagung to this place, when there was merely a lake here. It is said that Arahat made a prophecy that "a monastery will come up at this spot" and he made offerings (prayer with grains of corn) to the Nagaserpent spirits. The corns mixed with the earth and formed in the shape of Swastika (Yungdrung), later it came to be known as Yungdrung Monastery. The Great Translator Rinchen Zangpo constructed a temple here in eleventh century. Naropa also visited Lamayuru and meditated here. Gelukspa or Kadampa school of Tibetan Buddhism initially looked after Lamayuru, but later; it was taken over by Digungpa Order. Its monastic festival is called "Yuru Kabgyat", Later Drive Back to Uley Tokpo. Dinner at Camp

Day 13 : Uletokpo – Leh (by Private Car 70 Kms, 2 ½ hrs Drive)

Morning drive to Rizong Monastery Situated on a rocky steep the Rizong monastery belongs to the Gelukpa. Return to camp for lunch & depart for Leh. Upon arrival in Leh check in at your pre booked Hotel
Overnight at Hotel.

 

Day 14 : Leh - Delhi (By Flight)

Today you are transferred to Delhi airport to board flight for Delhi. Upon arrival in Delhi airport you are met and transferred to your pre booked hotel

Day 15 : Leave Delhi

Today you are transferred to Delhi International Airport to board flight Back Home
